Sid – Actor. Creator. Storyteller.
Born with a natural flair for the spotlight, Sid began performing young—lighting up family gatherings with his dance moves and charm. Encouraged by his poet and singer grandfather and his musically gifted mother, Sid’s path toward the arts was written in his DNA.
A proud Montreal native, Sid honed his craft at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles and toured over 60 international cities with a UK rock band. Whether on stage or screen, Sid brings magnetic energy, authenticity, and a deep respect for storytelling to every role. A friend once described him as “a ball of fire and energy on stage… suspended in air, glowing and burning like an inferno”—a testament to the passion he brings to his work.
Sid’s performances span drama, comedy, and everything in between, earning him roles alongside icons like Matt Frewer (The Art of More), Hugh Dillon (The Detectives), and John Hannah (Transplant), whose portrayal of Batiatus in Spartacus Sid greatly admires. He is known for fully inhabiting his characters—mind, body, and soul—drawing praise from peers and directors alike.
Outside of acting, Sid explores his creative side through writing, music, and directing sketches. He’s a curious traveler, avid reader, and a firm believer in giving back—.
Sid remains grounded and grateful, always striving to grow as an artist. With his vibrant personality, unshakable work ethic, and undeniable talent, he continues to bring stories to life—intending, always, to be part of the great ones.
